A REVOLUTIONARY PROPOSAL: DO YOU WANT TO BE A “TEMPORARY” DAMANHUR CITIZEN
Would you like to be a citizen of Damanhur for three months, entering into the social and spirital life here? Damanhur offers a new way to get to know the Federation of Communities: temporary citizenship. This is the New Life project. Come and have an experience of community life, during this great moment of social and political transformation that involves the whole world.
Damanhur has a grand project, to serve as a positive example for the entire world through ideas and action, to be a new social model that values diversity, spiritual research and respect for the environment.
The New Life project sees that interested people enter into community life in the nucleos of Damanhur for a period of three months, participating in the same activities as Damanhurian citizens. At the end of the three months, you may enter into a trial period to become a resident citizen, or move on to your next journey in life. This is a new experience for Damanhur as well. Until now, becoming a Damanhurian citizen has been a gradual process, with integration happening in steps.
Now it is possible to participate right away in community life and verify “on the ground” if community life interests you.
The project began at the beginning of Autumn 2010. Since then, we have received about 2,000 requests for information. More than 130 “New Life” citizens have come to Damanhur. Some of them have known Damanhur for a long time, while for others, it is their first time here. The new citizens have been welcomed in our family communities to live with us. We work together, get to know each other a little at a time, and become friends. New citizens also participate in meetings for Damanhurian citizens. We are also holding Italian classes for international citizens.

Hi! I lived in a pretty indecisive way until I found something I really believed in… As you mention, evolution is the key, moving toward greater complexity and alignment.
